Anna Pearl's Homestead

As you may have noticed, we have been inactive on this blog for awhile.  While it has been a very successful endeavor for our family, we have decided that we need another forum to advance our little homestead forward.

We have decided to suspend this blog and ask our readers to follows us to our new blog:

Anna Pearl's Homestead

https://annapearlshomestead.wordpress.com/

Wordpress is going to give us better opportunities to give our readers more services and features.

We will come back periodically to check on this block and re-invite you to find us out in cyber land.

Thank you so much for continuing to follow Anna Pearl and her adventures in homesteading in Wyoming.  God Bless You!

Aztec Flip Flops!

Women's Aztec Fashion Wedge Flip Flops

Now don't you just totally need some of these!  I am a constant flip flop wearer and the flip flops from the Wagon Wheel company are so very comfy.  I even wear them in the winter time.  I am the weird lady in Walmart wearing the wool socks and flip flops.  These have the neat thick sole and are oh so stylin'!  They are only $29.99 and come in several sizes.  Take a closer look at  http://www.wagonwheelcompany.com/#a_aid=annapearlsattic

Black Boot Blowout!

I have a favorite pair of boots.  They are black with chunky heels.  I looked high and low for them.   When I find boots that I love, I expect them to last the rest of my lifetime.  Not so!!

I am faced with several boot issues every day of my life.

1.   I have big feet!  Size 12 Womens, to be exact.  There are not a lot of shoe stores that carry a size 12     Womens.

2.    I work at a gas plant.  It is on the top of a mountain.  It is located in Wyoming.  Wyoming Winters.  Need I say more?

3.    Living in rural Wyoming does not offer a lot of shopping opportunities.

Today, I noticed that the sole has come un-sewn or unglued from the upper. Also, the is a tear in the sewing where the upper connects to leg piece.  This is truly a sad, sad day.

Wait!  This gives me a reason to go to Salt Lake City to go shopping.  Another disaster averted by my incredible intellect.
