Dear Hubbie and I recently took a brief trip to Logan, Utah. Logan is a small city, surrounded by the Wasatch Mountains. The elevation is 4534 feet and has about 48000 people living there. It is the home of Utah Sate University and the Logan Temple of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints.
The temple is constructed of limestone and the construction was dedicated on May 17, 1884. Sandstone was used to contrast the limestone. The contrast adds depth to the ornate decorative porticos. We had a nice visit here and especially loved the historic properties of the architecture.
